How to use the Xbox 360 Dual Controller Charger

To charge the battery pack using a charging cable, follow these steps:

1. Press the AA battery pack to remove the battery from the controller.

2. Insert the rechargeable battery pack into the battery compartment of the controller and press down to hold it.

CAUTION: To prevent you from pinching your fingers while loading the battery pack, press the flat side of the battery pack.

3. Connect the charging cable to the charging port on the front of the controller.

IMPORTANT: Be sure to load the rechargeable battery pack or AA battery pack before connecting the charging cable. Otherwise, the controller may be damaged.

4. Connect the charging cable to the controller port.

5. Turn on the Xbox 360 host.

Note: If you do not turn on the Xbox 360 host, the battery pack will not be charged.

6. Now you can choose to keep the Xbox 360 host power on or turn off the power to the host. No matter how you choose, the light of the charging cable will be red light, indicating that the battery is charging. When the indicator turns green or turns off, the battery pack is fully charged.

Note: To turn off the Xbox 360 host and continue charging the battery, you must turn off the host by setting the screen.

Play while charging

You can use the controller while playing games on the Xbox 360 host while charging the controller at the same times. When the controller is connected to the charging cable, it will continue to use the wireless signal so that you can still play the game. Do not use the charging cable if the wireless controller does not load a rechargeable battery pack or AA battery pack.

Clean the battery pack

If you must clean the battery connector, clean it only with a dry cloth. Water or chemicals may cause damage to the joint.
